Tuition fees

Higher education in Sweden is free of charge, except for students coming from a country outside the EU/EES area or Switzerland and who are not studying in exchange programmes.

Students coming from a country outside the EU/EES area or Switzerland and who are not studying in exchange programmes must pay both registration and tuition fees for studies in the first cycle and second cycle, and the HEIs are required to charge a fee that covers the full cost, including administrative costs.
